Team USA was one of sixteen countries competing. Three judges individually judged and scored each dog. There were four categories that the countries could enter:
 

Dogs over 2 years 

Dogs under 2 years

Girls over 2 years

Girls under 2 years

 

Each country could enter 2 animals in each category for a total of 8 dogs representing their country.  Some countries did not have full teams.  The USA sent 8 dogs.
