Terms:
1. The Sponsorship Committee will make every effort to assign your sponsorship to the class/placement you have requested. If, however, there is no entry in that class, the sponsorship committee will re-assign your sponsorship to another class. The Committee will try to assign your sponsorship to a comparable and similar class.
2. In the event that there is an entry in a class, but there are more sponsors than entries, the Committee will still accept four sponsorships per class and list them as such.
3. The purpose and intent of this sponsorship system is to support the BTCA and help provide exciting prizes for the BTCA National Specialty. Although donors will receive considerable exposure regarding their generosity, the sponsorships are a donation and not paid advertising. Any liability of the BTCA, its members, committees and affiliates is limited to the dollar amount of the actual donation made.
4. The first month of the sponsorship program shall be open exclusively to last year's winner of any particular prize. After that period, the sponsorships will be available on a first come, first served basis. The first donor to submit payment and a completed form shall have priority on the sponsorship. The decision of the Sponsorship Committee is final with regard to whose completed sponsorship was first received.
5. Regarding the previous year's winners, where there is more than one owner on a dog, the party that actually signed the entry form shall be considered the "owner" for the purposes of this program.
6. Acceptance of a sponsorship does not imply BTCA or its members or committees' endorsement of the sponsor or their business, organization, or group.
