Hello
from Colorado,
We
have had a very busy year.
Rescue has been overwhelming. Not only are we taking in dogs from Colorado,
but we are receiving dogs from our friends up North in Montana and East
from Kansas. So far we have had 39 bullies go through the program. The
girl from up North stayed in a shelter for 2 months with a broken leg.
We had a wonderful costume party, and all the bullies, including our rescue
bullies, had a wonderful time.
We have obedience training every month for our rescue bullies, and they
are doing very well. Even some of our own bullies are learning some valuable
skills.
Our supported entry was a huge success. We had 21 entries this year. Next
year, along with our 2 supported shows, we will have a National Specialty.
Our judges next year are Ken McDermott, Norma Smith and Jan Dykema. We
are working on the judges for 2010, and these will be announced shortly.
We are having the annual Christmas party next week.
