Happy fall to all fellow Bully lovers... what great weather we have had this year. We just lost our leaves this week, the first week of November. Two weekends ago we had our Halloween Howl and Bonfire, with our pumpkin themed buffet- everyone brought something made with pumpkin, and no pies allowed! We had a Costume Parade for the Bullies and Pearl was the Winner of the Gift Basket of toys and treats for her Princess get-up.

Backing up a bit, we had our Dogs on the Dock party in August, in the most beautiful wooded area of Wilmington. Gerry and Dodi had their speedboat and we all got a ride, which was exhilarating if not a little scary! We bbq'd and had a raffle, and the dogs got to do some swimming, or wading, if you will. It was really fun to do the picnic on the river this time and we are hoping to be able to go back next summer.

Sandee and I went to Michigan for their ROM shows in September and talk about fantastic weather! Thanks to the Metro Detroit Club for their hospitality and excellent raffle.

And then it was time to head down to Silverwood in the Starship Enterprise, battling the torrential rains on the way with the help of the TomTom nicknamed Prudence. We had a great time with our friends and enjoyed the facilities and thank the Tampa Club for their hard work. It was so good to see Judy Schreiber, the Club Webmaster, and I really marvelled at how well she is doing now.

Yesterday Illiana was represented in the Annual Christmas Parade in Wilmington with Bullies Rory, Jody and Venom. They all rode on the Ludtke tow truck, with their humans throwing candy out to all the kids.

Next Sunday we have our Annual Santa Pictures, this time held in a little dog biscuit bakery in Wilmington. Hey, we can get our Christmas pictures AND do a little shopping!

A mild start to the winter has us wondering if we will ever have any snow, but we all know the answer to that silly question. Time to grab your closest Bully and cuddle up. Aren't they just the best blankets ever?
