BTCA General
Rescue Mission Statement
The BTCA through its’ Rescue Support Committee (RSC)
purposes to aid and support Bull Terriers who are abandoned, surrendered or
otherwise located in dangerous and/or undesirable circumstances.
The RSC endeavors to effect this mission through the
following principal methods.
- The
BTCA wishes to support the efforts of its regional clubs; with assistance
via a web based information network. This
network lists dogs available for adoption, aids in the location and
subsequent evaluation of potential homes, helps in organizing transport and
fostering, and provides guidance for behavioral issues and training
problems.
- The
BTCA wishes to support the efforts of individual BTCA volunteers who are not
affiliated with the regional Bull Terrier clubs or other organized rescue
groups. These individuals must
subscribe to and uphold the specific rescue policies of the BTCA.
- Through
co-operation with other organized rescue groups who humanely care for
and judiciously place dogs.
