Mystique, a spayed female, came to us when owner was not taking care of her flea allergy. Mystique lost a lot of hair and was surrendered when it was discovered by law enforcement she was not being properly medically treated. She is all better now, and is a lot of fun to be with! She loves to take walks in the city and to ride in the car, and she is extremely enthusiastic about COOKIES, which makes her a lot of fun to train! She is a lot of bull terrier in a small package, and is very active. She will do best in a home with older children and no other pets; she thinks other dogs are scary. She will continue to blossom with rewards-based training, and after her lesson, she wants to sit in your lap and clean your face and ears!

“Jellybean” was surrendered to a local vet clinic when she was in labor. One of her puppies was stuck, and the owner could not afford to pay for the surgery to save her life. Our Club paid for the surgery, and, sadly, the puppies were all born dead. “Jelly” is all healed now, and is ready for her new home! She is 18 months old, spayed, and weighs about 50 pounds. She would do best in a quiet home with children over the age of 12, as she can be active at times and could knock small children over. She does not like other dogs, and is not safe with cats, so she must go to an only-pet home. Like all strong dogs her age, she will need continued rewards-based training to become the best friend you desire!
